Role: Hire Controller
Salary: Up to £32,000 PA
Location: Blackburn
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with the hire team, assisting in all aspects of operating a busy hire office.
2. Respond to customer enquiries and maximise company sales.
3. Answer the phone and respond to emails.
4. Handle all hire processes including hire contracts, exchanges, and breakdowns.
5. Update our Hire and CRM systems and help run the bustling hire office.

Key Skills:
1. Experience in staying organised is crucial.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Strong IT/computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (full training will be provided on our hire system).
4. Ability to work as part of a team supporting your colleagues.
5. Flexibility in your approach, being self-motivated to take initiative while also being eager to learn and develop new skills.
6. Effective administration, organisation, and planning skills, with an eye for detail.
7. Ideally, experience working in the industry as a hire controller.
Minimum Requirements:
Existing knowledge of Plant Hire Control within a similar business.
