*HGV1 DRIVERS NEEDED*
More Recruitment is working closely with a client who are seeking skilled and dedicated Class 1 Drivers. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting/collecting goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills.
Duties
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws while driving.
* Assist in loading and unloading goods as required.
Experience
* You must have a UK licence with at least 2 years experience driving a Class 1 in the UK
* Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
* Comprehensive knowledge of UK road laws
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Excellent English speaking and writing abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
