Role: Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer Location: Worcester Salary: Up to £45,000 Role Overview We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the technical delivery of structural steel projects from design through fabrication and installation. The role is focused on engineering coordination, technical problem-solving, and project support, ensuring designs are buildable, compliant, and delivered efficiently. While this is not a pure detailing role, a background in Tekla Structures is essential to enable effective coordination with detailing teams, review models and drawings, and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle. This role would suit someone who has progressed from a steel detailing or draughting background into a broader project engineering position. Key Responsibilities Project Engineering & Technical Coordination Act as a key technical link between design, detailing, fabrication, and site teams.
