We are looking to recruit a Contract Manager on a permanent basis within our Asset Management Team.
1. Main Responsibilities:
2. Direct line management of a team supporting the delivery of investment works to our housing portfolio.
3. Management of external contractors.
The Investment Team plays a central role in our 30-year investment programme, focusing on delivering quality homes. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to liaise with all stakeholders. They should have:
* Detailed knowledge of building construction.
* Proven experience in contract and budget management.
* Knowledge of CDM & Asbestos Regulations.
* Understanding of the decent homes standard.
You will lead the team through coaching, mentoring, one-to-one meetings, and team briefings. Ensuring that the team and contractors are objective-driven, adhere to policies and procedures, and meet Connexus standards.
This role offers hybrid working, combining home working and office presence, with the Head office at Craven Arms and travel to other offices as needed.
