Computer Science Teacher
Salary/Rate: £140 – £230 per day depending on experience.
Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Computer Science Teacher to work in a secondary school in Wigan/St Helens. The role is full‑time and involves taking over the class and delivering outstanding teaching in a friendly, lively, and vibrant environment.
The post requires experience specifically teaching KS3 and KS4 students in a high‑school environment. The school is open to an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a qualified Teacher with relevant qualifications.
Core responsibilities include implementing strong behaviour‑management strategies while adhering to school policies.
Requirements
* Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons
* Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
* Have previous experience of working with children
* Previous Computer Science teaching experience in line with KS3, 4 and 5 curricula
* Experience of delivering engaging lessons in the ICT curriculum
* Two references working with children covering the last 2 years
* Hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
