Primary schools across the Lancaster area are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistants to join their supportive teams. These roles offer fantastic opportunities to work across a range of year groups, supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally while gaining valuable classroom experience.

About the Role
You will be working within KS1 or KS2 classrooms, supporting the class teacher with daily learning activities, behaviour management, and small‑group or 1:1 interventions. Depending on the needs of the school, you may be assisting pupils with additional learning needs, helping to deliver targeted catch‑up work, or supporting whole‑class teaching.

What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with primary‑aged pupils (KS1 and/or KS2)
* Confidence supporting pupils with varying learning abilities
* A positive, adaptable and proactive approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
* Experience supporting children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia) is advantageous but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
