Business Leader working with Engineers across the UK
JOB- Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION- Dartford
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Dartford. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team involved in the design and development of high-quality engineered products.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* A degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
* Strong experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal, machining, and fabrication
* Ability to produce engineering drawings and documentation
* Good understanding of materials and tolerances
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
* Previous experience in a design role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:
* Designing mechanical components and assemblies
* Producing 3D models and detailed 2D drawings
* Working closely with other engineers, project managers, and production teams
* Taking projects from initial concept through to manufacture
* Supporting testing and validation of designs as required
