Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00 - 17.00, 1 in 3 Saturdays (42 hours per week)
Salary: £40,000 OTE (including £34,000 basic plus bonus)
Lookers SKODA is recruiting for a Diagnostic Technician to join their fantastic workshop. You will play a vital role, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and carrying out any additional repairs.

Our technicians play a vital role within our Service team by delivering first-class customer service every time. We want you to be part of our success. If you’re a qualified Vehicle Technician or an experienced Mechanic, whether you work in a dealer group or independent garage, we want to hear from you!
1. Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.
2. Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based technology.
3. Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.
4. Taking the customer's vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified.
5. Completing warranty repairs per the manufacturer’s guidelines and ensuring relevant write-up is complete.
6. Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be focused, self-motivated, a team player, and have a good mechanical/electrical aptitude. You will require a full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Having previous experience of working with the brand would be advantageous in this role.
