Responsibilities
* Consulting Project Content Development: Develop and write materials that are highly visible—such as slide decks for standardized presentations to senior management or sections of client reports—for review by more senior colleagues.
* Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyse data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
* Improvement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change‑management programmes to address them.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Assist with stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, events, and supporting materials to promote stakeholder understanding and commitment.
* Document Management: Create a company‑wide document management system and ensure compliance with it.
* Operations Management: Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first‑line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.
* Work Scheduling and Allocation: Assign short‑term work schedules to a team of subordinates to achieve expectations while following established timelines.
* Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfil personal potential.
* Operational Compliance: Identify instances of non‑compliance with the organisation's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, report these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
* Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
* Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships using relevant sales or client systems.
Qualifications & Experience
* Landscape Architect with a degree qualification including master planning, detailed design and delivery experience.
* Background in landscape, urban design, environmental consultancy (preferred).
* Position based in Newcastle upon Tyne and Leeds offices (hybrid working) with comprehensive benefits package, mentoring and ongoing training.
* Highly skilled in various design and graphics packages including hand drawing, sketching, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite.
