GSL Education are looking for a skilled Design Technology (DT) Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S35), delivering engaging lessons that develop technical knowledge and practical skills. As Design Technology Teacher, you will plan and teach structured Design Technology lessons, guiding students through the design process, material selection, and safe workshop practice while fostering creativity and independent thinking. Key duties of Design Technology Teacher: Deliver well-organised Design Technology lessons in line with curriculum expectations Support pupils in developing design, making, and evaluation skills Promote safe use of tools, equipment, and materials at all times Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and practical application Assess progress and provide constructive feedback Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification Experience teaching Design Technology in a school setting Strong classroom management and organisational skills Knowledge of health and safety within workshop environments An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) If you are a committed Design Technology Teacher ready to inspire learners, we welcome your application.
