We are now offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our EMEA Payroll and Billing Team.
Reporting into the Payroll & Billing Manager, the Payroll Administrator will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the payrolls in their assigned countries.
The key objective of this role is to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
You will be a team player who naturally goes above and beyond to deliver the best possible outcomes and service. You will have a keen eye for detail, analytical skills and the ability to work at pace without compromising on accuracy.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will take on a crucial role in processing and managing all aspects of the daily operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your advanced skills in payroll administration and to grow your skills in Business Services.
What will you be doing as a Payroll Administrator?
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and billing for all employees.
* Oversee calculation and verification of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
* Maintain payroll systems, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
* Serve as the primary contact for resolving complex payroll inquiries and escalated issues from both clients and employees
* Research and advise on country-specific employment legislation and worker benefits.
* Conduct regular payroll and billing audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
* Develop and maintain policies, provide team training, and support compliance with accounting principles and legislation updates.
What experience are we looking for?
Essential skills and experience:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
* Forward-thinking and proactive approach to work management.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership and deliver the best outcomes for all parties.
Desirable skills and experience:
* Experience running Dutch payroll
* Certification in Payroll Administration (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional).
* Experience in staffing industry and familiar with hourly payroll VMS.
