About the role
ABC Teachers are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of supportive and welcoming secondary schools across Telford & Shropshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience managing classrooms at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 who are passionate about education and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.
As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained
* Support students’ engagement and understanding
* Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Experienced Cover Supervisor you will:
* Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management skills
* Experience working with KS3 and KS4 pupils
* A flexible and professional attitude
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting
