Job title: Apprentice Quality Technician
Location: Glascoed
Salary: Starting from £18,023 with annual progression through the scheme duration.
What you'll be doing:
As a Quality Technician Apprentice, you will be involved in working from customer and engineering drawings, data and documentation to carry out the inspection, testing, validation, trouble‑shooting and fault diagnosis of issues experienced in manufacturing processes. This can range from both existing legacy and new product introduction within a highly complex manufacturing site.
Main responsibilities and duties could include but not be limited to:
* Inspection and validation of product and shop floor records.
* Monitor and analyse reject, rework and Right First Time (RFT) data.
* Drive and support targeted Continuous Improvement (C.I.) activities.
* Review of manufacturing production readiness.
* Work with other functions to improve the Quality Management System.
* Continually improve own understanding of lean manufacturing methods.

Qualification requirements
5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4 / A*-C which must include English (or Welsh First Language) & a Science / Technical Subject, and a Maths GCSE or equivalent at grade 9- 5/A*-B (we cannot accept Maths Numeracy)
