Job Title: Maths Teacher
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Summary and Duties
Working as a Maths Teacher for New Barn School, you will deliver engaging, educational-based learning tailored to each pupil to ensure positive results.
The role will be challenging but rewarding, working in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference. You will lead and coordinate flexible, person-centred programmes of study for individuals and groups of pupils, demonstrating a practical, hands-on approach to teaching and going above and beyond for the young people we support.
Duties will include:
* Teaching a varied range of subjects
* Preparing, planning, and assessing teaching sessions while keeping abreast of curriculum developments
* Writing and implementing individual education plans, making assessments of educational attainment, and setting challenging yet achievable targets
* Building relationships with all young people to encourage their interest and participation in education
* Creating a stimulating and purposeful environment to promote teaching and learning outside formal classroom settings
Key Skills Required:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching a range of subjects at Primary Level with a good or outstanding rating
* Knowledge of current education issues related to practice, process, and curriculum
* Experience working within an SEN setting, supporting pupils with challenging behaviour (SEMH/EBD)
