Occupational Therapist Location: Hybrid Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (qualifications and experience dependent) + £3,500 car allowance + mileage Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Reports to: Head of Clinical Services
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing care provider supporting both adults and children across the UK. They are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and are looking for a Sensory Integration-trained Occupational Therapist to join their expanding clinical team. This is a hybrid role, combining remote work with regular travel to various residential settings.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessment, planning, and delivery of treatment in line with the clinical model the organisation adopts. A key focus will be delivering Sensory Integration interventions across homes within the service. You'll work closely with clinical teams, senior management, and external stakeholders to maintain high standards and improve care outcomes.
✔️ Assess and identify barriers affecting individuals' occupational performance and develop individualised treatment plans
✔️ Deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions based on clinical need
✔️ Engage therapeutically with children and adults to support their development and regulation
✔️ Deliver Sensory Integration interventions across multiple residential settings
✔️ Work collaboratively with clinical teams, senior management, and external agencies
✔️ Maintain clear, accurate, and evidence-based clinical records and documentation
✔️ Contribute to the education of care teams to enhance understanding and delivery of SI techniques
What we're looking for:
✔️ A degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy
✔️ Recognised Sensory Integration qualification
✔️ HCPC registration
✔️ Prior experience working in both children's and adults' residential care settings
✔️ Proven ability to deliver sensory integration in practice
✔️ Strong communication skills and ability to manage a varied caseload
✔️ Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
✔️ Full UK driving licence (travel to multiple services is required)
