Job Role: Primary School Teacher at Woodfield Primary
Join our team at Woodfield Primary, located at our Stoneleigh Road site, as a dedicated primary school teacher. We cater to students from Year 1 to Year 6 in a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) setting, supporting some of the most vulnerable pupils.
1. Provide effective teaching that challenges and supports children to achieve their potential.
2. Manage classroom behavior with excellent behavior management skills.
3. Support pupils with barriers to learning, particularly those with SEMH needs.
4. Work within a team to deliver engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS and KS2 curriculum.
5. Maintain professional relationships with children, parents, and staff.
6. Adhere to school policies, procedures, and deadlines for reports and events.
7. Ensure safeguarding and promote the welfare of children and young people.
We are looking for a qualified teacher who is resilient, has a good sense of humor, and is passionate about supporting young people's social, emotional, and mental well-being. Candidates should have knowledge of the EYFS and KS2 curriculum, phonics, behavior management, and understanding of additional needs, especially SEMH.
