Your Role as a PIP Disability Assessor: Conduct structured Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Assess how various health conditions and disabilities impact a claimant’s ability to carry out daily living and mobility activities. Engage with claimants via telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather comprehensive medical information. Produce detailed, evidence-based medical reports that accurately reflect a claimant’s functional ability. Work within clinical guidelines and professional standards to ensure fairness and accuracy.
