We are currently looking to appoint a 1-1 teaching assistant to work with a child within our school with a focus on improving their educational outcomes in line with their EHCP targets.

Position and terms
Position: 1-1 Teaching Assistant (Fixed Term from 3 November 2025 to 31 August 2026 in the first instance linked to EHCP funding)
Salary: Grade 2 SCP 5-6 £25,583 – £25,989 pro-rata term time only
Working Hours: 8.00am – 4.00pm
Responsibilities
* Has achieved or is working towards Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Has experience of working with children across the primary phase.
* Has knowledge of the curriculum and child development.
* Has a determination to enhance the outcomes for our children.
* Has the ability to work with staff to plan and deliver educational experiences in line with statutory EHCP targets.
* Will work with staff to write provision plans which incorporate small step targets.
* Will ensure the child reaches their full potential.
* Can deliver and track a range of interventions.
* Are willing to undertake relevant training and staff meetings.
* Can effectively communicate with parents and outside agencies.
