Job Title: Reception Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Location: Birmingham, B14 Contract Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Start Date: ASAP Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a nurturing and experienced Reception Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the B14 area of Birmingham. This full-time role is to start immediately and will run until the end of the autumn term (Christmas), maybe longer due a leave of absence. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils in Reception with their learning, play, and development in line with the EYFS framework. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities. Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes emotional wellbeing and independence. Support with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy activities. Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers. Requirements: Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare-related qualification. Previous experience working in an EYFS or Reception setting that can be references Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
