Management Accountant
. This is a key role within a high-performing finance team, helping to scale and professionalise the finance function.
The role
We are seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Management Accountant to join the finance team. This is a
12-month fixed-term contract
offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, operationally focused business.
As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
* Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
* Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
* Assisting with KPI reporting and financial analysis for business units
* Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information to senior management
* Identifying process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
What the client is looking for
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar financial reporting role
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and management accounting processes
* Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems
* Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What the client offers
* Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per annum
* 12-month fixed-term contract
