Fierté Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a reflective, creative and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to join the dedicated team at Anker Valley Primary Academy. The successful candidate will become part of a supportive and collaborative staff who are deeply committed to providing the highest quality education for our children. We are looking for a committed professional with the skills and passion to deliver excellent teaching across Key Stage 2. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people. Key Stage 2–specific skills and attributes: Strong subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum, including age‑related expectations in reading, writing and maths. Confidence in assessing learning using a range of formative and summative strategies to identify next steps. Ability to plan and deliver high quality, well‑sequenced lessons that support progression across KS2. Experience in preparing pupils for statutory KS2 assessments/SATs. Skill in adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND, EAL and higher attaining pupils. Confidence in using educational technology to enhance learning and engagement. Ability to create a positive, engaging and well‑managed learning environment that promotes independence and resilience. Strong interpersonal skills enabling positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. Understanding of how to develop wider learning skills such as oracy, critical thinking, collaboration and problem‑solving. Commitment to delivering a broad, balanced and creative curriculum that excites and inspires pupils.
