Job Role: Residential Support Team Leader
Working Pattern: Rota is 2 days on, 4 days off, with full day sleeps. Working out at 7 sleeps per month.
Additional Benefits: Monthly attendance bonus of £1800 per year and enrollment into Level 5 qualification.
Essential Requirements: UK Manual Driving Licence and minimum 2 years' experience supporting young people.
About the Role
We are recruiting experienced candidates to lead a team supporting children and young people in a residential home. The role involves long day shifts with sleep-ins overnight.
Our client provides high-quality residential care and education for children and young people with adverse childhood experiences, including those with mental health conditions such as Autism, Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties, and complex needs.
Responsibilities
* Assist and support managers to ensure smooth shift operations.
* Assign tasks to support workers and monitor their completion.
* Support children in maintaining relationships and integrating into the community.
* Safeguard children and report any signs of harm.
* Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards within the home.
What We Look For
* Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in residential care.
* Experience leading a team.
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
* Ability to work long days and undertake sleep-ins.
* Confidence to support and motivate your team.
