Account Manager – Consumer Packaged Goods (Scotland)
Location: Home-based (Scotland) with regular customer visits
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive business growth and nurture customer relationships across Scotland. In this role, you will take ownership of account development, customer satisfaction, and strategic opportunities within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers across Scotland
* Build and maintain C-level relationships within customer organisations
* Own and grow the opportunity pipeline from creation to closure
* Lead complex negotiations and strategic deal closures
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
* Design innovative solutions and business models to meet customer needs
* Provide accurate forecasting and business planning insights
* Leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making
* Capture and share customer success stories
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
* Proven track record in account management and business development
* Experience presenting to senior executives and boards
* Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Excellent time and resource management
Advantageous:
* Experience in automation, digital solutions, or manufacturing
* Knowledge of the CPG sector
* Senior-level account management and C-suite engagement experience
