Actual Salary £27,089 - £30,878 per annum per annum (Grade 8)
This job is Full time - 37 Hours per week term time plus 3 weeks to be worked in the school holidays
It is offered on a Permanent basis
Approximate start date 1 September 2026
This non-teaching role will provide pastoral care to support the welfare and progress of students, working as part of the wider pastoral team to support student achievement and attainment
To work closely with students requiring pastoral support, including those with SEN, behaviour, mental health and attendance needs.
We are looking for someone who:
is committed to safeguarding and the welfare of students
has excellent organisational and communication skills
is able to demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative and good time management
has the confidence to take appropriate decisions
You will have a real interest in supporting students’ learning.
Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has previous experience of
working in a pastoral role
working with young people
Arbor MIS system
using data and tracking tools to monitor behaviour, attendance and progress
behaviour management of young people in an educational setting
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm - this may be subject to change according to business needs.
