Learning Support Assistant – Full time – Baldock, Hertfordshire
Learning Support Assistant role requiring SEMH experience, with on-going, immediate start for disadvantaged young people.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to students with complex needs including social, emotional and mental health within the classroom.
* Help students remain positive and focused while supporting their academic and personal progress.
* Assist with behavioural challenges and contribute to building self-esteem and confidence.
* Utilise previous experience with challenging behaviour to support pupils effectively.
The School
This special school caters to boys aged 11-16 with emotional, behavioural and mental health needs. It functions as a special school offering provision for pupils who have an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school provides a nurturing, inclusive environment for students with SEMH and/or other associated needs.
