SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time – Trowbridge Area
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs? We are currently looking for a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well-resourced Special Needs School in the Trowbridge area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly supportive team in a school that caters for students aged 4 to 19, all with a range of complex and moderate learning needs, including ASD, SLD and PMLD.
About the School:
1. A well-established, community-focused special school with a child-centred approach
2. Provides a personalised, skills-based curriculum preparing students for adulthood
3. On-site therapeutic services to support students’ emotional and physical wellbeing

5. Easily accessible from Southwick, Yarnbrook, Staverton, and surrounding areas
What We're Looking For:
6. Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (preferred)
7. Confident working 1:1 or in small groups
8. Friendly, flexible and patient approach to learning support
9. Good understanding of ASD, SLD or PMLD (training can be provided)
10. Behaviour management skills are a plus
11. Moving & Handling experience (or willingness to train)
12. Access to your own transport due to the school’s location
13. A genuine passion for inclusive education and a desire to help young people thrive
14. Willingness to complete relevant CPD training

Salary
£445-£470 per week
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
