A secondary school in Hastings, East Sussex is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Chemistry to join our successful Science department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons that support excellent student progress.
* Plan, prepare and assess work in line with departmental and national expectations.
* Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.
* Support students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
* Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Science department.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has experience teaching Chemistry in a secondary school setting.
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
* Has high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
