Job Description
FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a 6 month contract.
You will be joining a finance team of four & reporting into the Financial Controller who is very hands on & gets stuck in! The finance team has been newly formed & the FC is looking for a personable, knowledgeable & hard working individual who is happy to roll their sleeves up & get involved with some project work alongside the day to day tasks noted below.
Duties Will Include
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
* Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable: general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations, statement reconciliations, payment run preparation
* Support month-end and year-end close processes: Prepayments, Accruals, Leases, balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities: Annual budgeting, cashflow forecasting
* Manage expense reports including credit card and fuel cards
* Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits
* Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
* Support the senior accountant with various accounting projects and tasks as required
