Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen as a shared resource between Dacorum Borough Council and Watford Borough Council as the Resilience Lead Officer for each organisation. The role will manage the appropriate plans and processes, to ensure that the response from a Critical Incident is robust and appropriate and compliments the response from other partner agencies.
The Resilience Lead Officer will provide a lead in ensuring the Emergency Plans, policies and procedures and Business Continuity Plans are robust for each organisation. They will work in partnership with departmental managers to ensure that in the event of an Emergency or Business Continuity Incident, staff have been appropriately trained, equipped and have the plans and processes in place to respond to an incident and maintain the agreed levels of service for their areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities
* Lead in ensuring Emergency Plans, policies and procedures and Business Continuity Plans are robust for each organisation.
* Work in partnership with departmental managers to ensure training, equipment and plans are in place to respond to an incident and maintain agreed service levels.
* Manage time between two organisations and build strong relationships with colleagues and contractors.
* Demonstrate tact, diplomacy and negotiation skills to achieve defined performance targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Driving licence that is valid in the UK.
* Basic DBS check conducted to ensure the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
