About Active Surrey

We are Active Surrey, one of 43 national Active Partnerships funded by Sport England to tackle inactivity driven by inequalities. We believe in the power of physical activity and the benefits it can offer as a mood booster, confidence lifter, social enhancer and a life extender.

Less than half Surrey's children and young people are doing enough physical activity every week, which falls to only 4 out of 10 children amongst lower-income families. In addition, 3 out of 10 Surrey adults aren't doing enough, rising to over 4 out of 10 amongst those earning less. That's why we need YOU to join our 'Movement for Change' and help us challenge and change the status quo to get more people moving, and help us create a fairer, better and healthier future for everyone.

'Be Your Best' is a fully funded healthy lifestyle programme for families with children aged 5-17 years, who are above the healthy weight range. The programme adopts a family approach so you will be working with the whole family. For more information, please visit the .

About the Role

We are looking for a Health & Wellbeing Advisor to primarily support families living in the boroughs of Guildford, Waverley, Epsom & Ewell and Mole Valley.

Like all roles at Active Surrey, you can expect this to be fun, rewarding and challenging. No two days will be the same! Your role will be to deliver the one-to-one session part of the 'Be Your Best' programme, either in schools or family homes. Families are also offered online group sessions delivered by the University of Surrey and Family Learning. Topics include The Eatwell Guide, sugar swaps, sleep, exercise and screen time.
