Paralegal Supervisor – Real Estate

About the Opportunity:
CRA Consulting is delighted to be working with a leading global law firm that is looking to recruit a Paralegal Supervisor into their Legal Services Unit This centralised team provides critical support to high-value real estate transactions, particularly within the energy and utilities sectors .
This role offers a rare opportunity to step into a leadership position, where you will supervise a team of Assistant Paralegals, Paralegals, and Senior Paralegals. You'll oversee key transaction work, including:
Acquisition of substation and radio sites
Lease management and renewals
Wayleaves, easements, and variations
The position will be based in Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow or Edinburgh, offering an excellent hybrid working policy and real opportunities for career progression.
Role Responsibilities:
Review and allocate incoming client instructions across the team
Monitor team capacity and ensure appropriate workload distribution
Support paralegals with transactional queries and client updates
Track matter progress and maintain data rooms and online trackers
Manage conflict checks and matter opening processes
Participate in client calls and internal operational meetings
Lead people management duties including onboarding, holiday/sickness approval, wellbeing, training, and appraisals
Oversee financial performance—WIP, time recording, balances and reporting
About You:
At least 2 years' real estate experience, ideally with supervisory or team leadership exposure
Strong organisational and communication skills
Detail-focused with a high level of professionalism
Comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels
Able to manage multiple deadlines effectively
Proficient in legal technology and document management systems
Proactive and collaborative, with a commercial mindset
