The continued growth and success of our Company has created a vacancy for a Joiner to join our expanding team.
About the role:
This is a full-time on-site Joiner role based from Cumbernauld but covering the UK. The Joiner will be responsible for performing high-quality joinery work, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire doors, partitioning, and other fire safety measures. Other tasks include ensuring compliance with fire safety standards, collaborating with team members, and maintaining tools and equipment. The Joiner will play an integral role in maintaining the safety and integrity of clients' premises.
Hours of work Mon to Fri: 08.00 – 16.00, however please note that out of hours work will be required also noting there will be travel throughout the UK with this role.
Essential:
· Expertise in joinery and carpentry, including installation, repair, and maintenance
· Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
· Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and standards
· Experience with tools and equipment maintenance relevant to the trade
· Strong attention to detail and precision in work
· Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Relevant qualifications, certifications, or trade apprenticeships in joinery or carpentry
· Previous experience in fire safety or related industries is highly advantageous
· A full UK driving licence is essential and a requirement to travel throughout the UK.
· Organised and the ability to multitask.
· Able to use own initiative.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
· A basic understanding of computers/IT.
Desirable:
· CSCS card.
· HSE awareness.
