Role

RISE Mental Health Support Team is recruiting one qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to join our Gateshead MHST. This post will sit within our established team, working closely with schools, families and partners to deliver high‑quality early intervention for children and young people across Gateshead.

If you are passionate about children and young people’s mental health, committed to early intervention and prevention, and motivated by working within the national MHST model, this is an exciting opportunity to join a creative, values‑driven service.


Requirements

* HEE PG Diploma in Education Mental Health Practice for children & young people or PG Diploma in Psychological Wellbeing Practice for children and young people.
* At least one years’ experience of delivery of low intensity evidenced based CBT interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues.
* Ability to deliver low intensity evidenced based interventions under supervision to children and young people.
* Ability to devise and deliver group-based interventions to children and young people.
* Ability to delver parent led interventions where children have a mental health need.
