OakRay Care Group Ltd are currently looking for Care Assistants to join our Fordingbridge Care Home.
Glynn Court Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 31 people over the age of 65, some of whom are living with dementia or physical health needs.
We have opportunities for a number of candidates whether you are new to care or experienced.
If you have a caring nature, a natural interest in people and want to make a difference then this might be just the job for you.
As a Care Assistant you will:
* be involved in supporting the daily activities of our residents, ensuring a person-centred approach is undertaken at all times
* assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
* have a respectful, courteous and compassionate nature and a willingness to undertake any aspects of care or non-care duties
Whether you are accompanying a resident to a dentist appointment, completing a care plan document, assisting a resident to have a shower, reading the morning newspaper to a resident, or assisting someone to have breakfast, you should do so with care and kindness.
A full induction programme and training is provided, with the opportunity to undertake further qualifications where appropriate.
A competitive salary is offered, which will be discussed at the interview. This is a full time position, and we are looking for day and night staff.
