Job Summary Routen Chaplin is an insurance broker based in the heart of Long Eaton, which has been established for over 60 years. We are looking to strengthen our team with the recruitment of a Finance Administrator. The Financial Administrator will play a crucial role in the organisation and will provide direct support to the Chief Operating Officer. This position will be responsible for processing all insurer and client transactions. They will also provide administration support with compliance and health and safety activities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator with strong organisation skills. Duties Finance Log all incoming insurer statements Reconcile all insurer statements liaise with Handlers/Insurers with any discrepancies Issue Remittances to Insurers Monitor all Premium Finance Agreements liaise with Handlers with any issues Allocate all incoming client money inc BACS, cash and cheques Accept client payments over the telephone Issue refunds to customers Maintain Petty cash Health & Safety Test fire alarms on a weekly basis Maintain Fire Safety Log Book Test Emergency Lighting on a weekly basis Ensure clear routes through building on a weekly basis Compliance Product Governance gather Insurer Target Market Statements and Fair Value Assessments for all products Assist with maintaining Insurer TOBA register Assisting with Ad-Hoc Compliance tasks Skills Experience in purchase/sales ledger Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments.
