We're looking to appoint a Cleaning Supervisor with a hands‑on approach, to join our busy Academy. Ideally you will have experience of both cleaning and managing a team.
Working hours for this role are 2:30pm – 7:00pm.
Responsibilities
* Perform quality control checks across areas to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes.
* Provide support and training for cleaners to enable them to perform duties effectively.
* Undertake cleaning responsibilities as part of the wider cleaning team.
* Take stock of and order cleaning materials.
* Comply with existing statutory legislation and safer working practices at all times.
* Report faults, risks or dangers to the Site Manager as soon as possible.
* Keep cleaning equipment in good working order.
* Maintain a clean storage area for equipment and supplies.
* Always present a positive approach to customer needs.
* Undertake training, where required, to perform to the required standards of the job.
* Coordinate the cleaning responsibilities of each area across the academy, assigning cleaners effectively to manage the cleanliness of the site.
* Any other duties deemed to be appropriate.
Qualifications
All applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK prior to commencement of employment. As part of our need to comply with UK immigration rules, you will be required to provide Home Office stipulated documentation prior to interview.
