Your role as a Social Worker
* Provide accurate and objective advice and support to parents, enabling families to thrive.
* Build meaningful, professional, and respectful relationships with families, lead the assessment process, and complete comprehensive assessments of parenting capacity.
* With a manageable caseload, get to know families well and tailor assessments to meet their needs, providing best opportunities for success.
* Receive social work qualified line management, supervision, and support from dedicated social work practice managers.
* Access legal advice, bespoke training, and opportunities within the social work service to flourish and develop.
* Provide evidence-based, analytical, and comprehensive parenting assessments that give clear recommendations for permanency planning for children and their families.
Our Ideal Candidate Should
* Have a Social Work Qualification.
* Be registered with Social Work England.
* Have a minimum of 1 year’s post‑qualifying experience working with children and families.
* Demonstrate willingness and ability to work across a number of our family assessment centres.
* Have experience in preparing high-quality parenting assessment reports for court.
* Be experienced in working with families to complete robust parenting assessments, being honest, objective and open with them.
