Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive team leader to manage a team in the finishing and painting section. The role requires effective coordination with team leaders, production engineers, and the broader engineering team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in managing production tasks, ensuring quality standards, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
What will be your responsibilities:
* Team Management & Coordination: Directly manage your team and coordinate with team leaders, production engineers, and the broader engineering team.
* Weekly Production Planning: Plan weekly tasks related to finishing and painting.
* Team Development: Monitor and support the development of team members.
* Attendance Control: Track team attendance, including entry/exit times, breaks, and task durations.
* Maintenance of Facilities & Equipment: Ensure that facilities, equipment, and tools are kept in good condition.
* Collaborative Communication: Build positive and assertive communication with colleagues from other sections.
* Quality Control: Ensure that all produced parts and completed tasks meet required quality standards. Take corrective actions when quality is not met and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
* Meeting Deadlines: Ensure that production and delivery deadlines are met.
Workplace Safety: Ensure team members work safely, preventing risky behaviors and improper use of equipment.
* Work Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in your team’s workspace before, during, and after task completion.
* Cross-Section Tasks: Perform tasks in integration, lamination, or other sections when production needs require it.
* Implement Instructions: Follow instructions received from production engineers or the industrial manager.
* Lead by Example: Keep your team motivated, productive, and disciplined.
Profile and requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or similar.
* Computer Skills: Proficient in user-level computer tools.
* Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of composite lamination and finishing and painting processes.
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the sector or a similar field.
* Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
* Goal-Oriented: Focus on achieving production goals.
* Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level.
