Housing Support Worker (Temp to Perm)
Location: Coventry Pay Rate: £18 per hour (Umbrella) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to join a supportive and well-established service working with adults, including individuals recently released from probation services.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in housing, substance misuse, or employability support who is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals move towards independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 housing-related support to service users
* Develop and manage support plans tailored to individual needs
* Carry out health & safety and property checks
* Support clients with budgeting and financial management
* Conduct risk assessments and manage medium-risk cases
* Assist with benefits, tenancy sustainment, and life skills
About You
* Experience in housing support, substance misuse, or employability services
* Comfortable working with medium-risk clients, including ex-offenders
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
* Ability to manage a caseload and work independently
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
