We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner on a permanent basis to be responsible for short, medium and long term production schedules to meet customer needs whilst maximising efficiency.
Your main duties will include:
* Use of ERP system to create weekly and daily production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and material availability.
* Adjustment of schedules
* Ensure schedules are accurate, stable and attainable
* Support continuous improvement and Lean planning
* Ensure production plans align with material availability, equipment capacity and labour capability
* Maintain planning data
* Work closely with procurement
* Root cause analysis of any missed schedules
* Key user for the planning ERP system
The ideal candidate will have experience of production planning in a production / manufacturing based environment with excellent analysis and communication skills. You will have also worked with a range of ERP systems.
This role is 5 days per week office based.
