We're looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join a high-tech instrumentation team building advanced optical and electronic systems used in cutting-edge scientific applications.
As Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities include:
Assemble and test precision instruments (electronics + optics)
Build electrical harnesses and electronic sub-systems
Align optical components using laser systems
Carry out Final Acceptance Testing (training provided)
Follow detailed work instructions and record test data accurately
Support fault finding and repair activities
Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
Experience required:
Strong hands-on assembly experience and excellent attention to detail
Experience in electronics, optics, or precision instrumentation (approx. 3 years)
Ability to perform basic fault finding (e.g. continuity testing)
Comfortable working in a lab/PPE environment
Team player with good communication skills
Laser/optics experience desirable
