My client, a Top 40 UK firm of Chartered Accountants, is seeking an Accounts Manager to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of clients and act as a main point of contact
* Prepare and review year‑end accounts
* Oversee VAT returns and tax compliance (personal & corporate)
* Review junior staff work and provide training/support
* Assist with workflow management and deadlines
Requirements
* 3+ years' experience in an accountancy practice
* Strong knowledge of accounts, VAT, and tax
* Experience reviewing work and mentoring staff
* ACA/ACCA qualified or part‑qualified (desirable)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
