Position: Fleet Paint Technician Consultant Location: Onsite in Surrey Position Type: Contract Outside IR35 About the company I am currently recruiting on behalf of a luxury high end low volume client based in Surrey They are looking for a Fleet Paint Technician Consultant to join their team working 5 days onsite Job Description Requirement to work with client press fleet management team to maintain the standards of the fleet vehicles. Repairs will vary from detailing, smart spot repairs to uplift complete rebuild resprays. Spray booth and tools will be provided based on client site Must be fully trained, qualified and have demonstrated trade experience to complete paint repairs unsupervised Successful applicant will be expected to manage own workload planning and manage paint/ consumable accounts against set budgets. Manage quotes, estimates and job hours reporting. Ensure safe working practices at all times and the correct use of PPE. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Previous experience with client or other premium brands paint essential Qualified in paint spraying and repair of vehicles The successful applicant would ideally be skilled in panel preparation, filler work, spray painting and polishing. Understanding of panel surface quality requirements that could affect final paint finish.
