IT Project Manager – EPR Rollout - Healthcare
Fixed-Term Contract - 6 to 12 months FTC
We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of a Electronic Patient Record (EPR) rollout within a complex healthcare environment.
This is a critical role, responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful implementation, and supporting the transformation of clinical systems and patient care through digital innovation.
The Role
As IT Project Manager, you will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from planning through to go-live and post-implementation support. You’ll work closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to ensure the programme is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of an EPR implementation across multiple departments/sites
* Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies
* Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, clinical staff, third-party vendors, and senior stakeholders
* Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and clear communication at all levels
* Oversee system deployment, testing, training, and go-live activities
* Drive governance, reporting, and project documentation in line with best practice
* Support change management and user adoption across the organisation
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data security, and information governance standards
Key Experience & Skills
* Proven experience delivering EPR / EMR / PAS systems within a healthcare setting
* Strong background in IT project delivery, ideally within NHS or private healthcare environments
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience working with third-party suppliers and system integrators
* Strong knowledge of project methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent)
* Understanding of clinical workflows, data integration, and healthcare systems
This is a 6 to 12 month fixed term contract and fully remote
