Quality Coordinator
Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00
Responsibilities:
Coordinating and managing subcontractor activities from start to finish
Carrying out quality inspections and sign off checks using PDI standards
Approving suppliers and maintaining up to date contractor agreements
Managing permit to work processes and reviewing detailed work plans
Producing performance reports and maintaining contractor league tables
Overseeing training and approval for contractor engineers
Conducting off site quality checks and ensuring technical compliance
Requirements:
Experience in subcontractor coordination, supplier management, or quality focused roles
Strong background in quality control and inspection processes
Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation
Excellent organisation, communication, and problem solving skills
Confident using contractor management systems and Microsoft Office
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering/Manufacturing
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
HGV licence -Desirable
