Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Kidderminster.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support students with SEND, both in and out of the classroom
* Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
* Work 1:1 or with small groups to help pupils re-engage with learning
* Build trusting, professional relationships that promote positive behaviour
* Assist teachers in creating a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
* Contribute to behaviour plans and pastoral support programmes
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with young people with SEND (school, youth work, mentoring or similar)
* Strong communication, resilience and emotional intelligence
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and use positive behaviour strategies
* A genuine commitment to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
* Team-working skills and a proactive approach
