We are seeking a dynamic Head of Finance for Capital Maintenance & Asset to lead financial strategy and performance across a record-breaking £7bn investment programme. This is a high-profile role, partnering with two Executive Directors and influencing decisions that will shape infrastructure delivery through to 2040. You\\\'ll play a pivotal role in ensuring value for money, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability, while leading a growing team of finance professionals. In this role, you will:Act as trusted advisor to Executive Directors for Strategic Delivery and Asset ManagementLead financial planning and performance for major capital programmes, including two reservoir projects and a major growth schemeProvide strategic insight and reporting to the Executive Committee, Board, and investorsOversee forecasting, financial control, and investment governance across capital portfoliosDrive commercial leadership in procurement, co-investment, and alliance partnershipsOwn risk management processes and ensure regulatory assuranceBuild and lead a high-performing finance team, aligned to business transformation and growth We\\\'re looking for someone with:Qualified finance professional (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive senior-level experienceProven track record in regulated or infrastructure-based businesses with large-scale capital investmentStrong commercial acumen and experience in complex investment decision-makingExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including Board-level engagementExperience working in matrix environments and leading through both direct and virtual teamsStrong people leadership with the ability to grow/develop a team of financial professionalsA strategic thinker with a passion for performance, insight, and transformationExperience of S4 Hana/Ariba would be desirableFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks and capital efficiency tracking As a valued employee, you\\\'ll be entitled to: 30 days holiday plus bank holidays (with flexibility for religious holidays) Car AllowancePersonal private health care Life cover - 8x annual salary Competitive pension scheme - we double-match your contributions up to 6% Annual bonus scheme and lifestyle benefits Why Join Us?
