Salary: LSEAT Harmonised Spine Point H18 £24,31.13 actual (£29,064 FTE) to H20 £25,691.18 actual (£30,705 FTE)
Term time: 39 weeks per year
Hours: 36 hours over 5 days (8.30am-3.30pm)
Location: Bramley Oak Academy, part of the LSEAT family
Start Date: September 2026
Responsibilities
* Lead Forest School, outdoor learning and sustainability education for SEMH primary pupils.
* Shape and develop an outdoor curriculum, linking to themes and liaising with senior staff.
* Deliver land‑based learning sessions, ensuring safety, engagement and inclusivity, especially for pupils needing additional emotional support.
* Model sustainable choices and inspire pupils to care for their world.
Qualifications
* Passionate about outdoor learning, sustainability and environmental responsibility.
* Experienced working with children, preferably with SEMH understanding.
* Knowledgeable about Forest School, environmental education or land‑based skills.
* Practical, creative and able to work outdoors in all weather.
* Skilled at engaging pupils who may need additional emotional support.
* Committed to modelling sustainable choices and inspiring pupils to care for their world.
* Forest School Level 3 training preferred; support will be provided for suitable candidates to gain the qualification.
