Job Title: Administrative Support - Andersen Ward Mother & Baby Unit
Please note: This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Administration Team at Laureate House on the Andersen Ward Mother & Baby Unit. Your duties will include supporting patients and their relatives on the Ward, as well as providing comprehensive administrative support to the team of doctors, nurses, support workers, and other professionals involved in patient care.
The post holder will provide an efficient and professional service, ensuring quality service to all users, their families, and professionals contacting the Ward. The role may also require covering other wards within Laureate House, supporting during the absence of other administrators, and assisting the Perinatal Outreach Team and Perinatal Community Team.
You will be the initial point of contact for the service, responding to enquiries professionally and sensitively, and providing a responsive, comprehensive clerical and administrative service to the multidisciplinary team to support effective service delivery for service users and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach in providing administrative support to teams working with clients experiencing mental health problems. Daily client and carer telephone contact, as well as face-to-face interactions, require excellent communication skills.
