Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-sequenced lessons across Key Stages 3-4 that meet curriculum and exam requirements.
* Manage behaviour proactively to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
* Differentiate learning, adapting resources to meet the needs of SEN, EAL and mixed-ability cohorts.
* Assess, mark and give timely, constructive feedback to drive student progress.
* Maintain accurate records (attendance, progress, behaviour) using school systems.
* Work collaboratively with subject teams, pastoral staff and SLT.
* Follow safeguarding policies and contribute to student welfare.
* Cover whole-class timetables for extended periods and support departmental planning.
Qualifications
* Qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
* Strong classroom management and excellent organisational skills.
* Able to start on long-term supply quickly and commit to full-time placements.
* Professional, flexible and team-oriented.
